Travel&Vacation

Having just returned from one vacation, on this occasion to Egypt where we stayed at the marvellous La Residence des Cascades in Soma Bay south of Hurghada, I am once again scanning brochures for hotels I might otherwise ignore to try to find somewhere to go next.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I work to take vacations, and in an ideal world I’d take off whenever the children are on school holidays, and not come back again until term starts.
In an ideal world I’d write about vacation hotels for a living.

In fact I’m going to do that and in future entries you will find this to be a kind of travelogue
