Camping on Mamutik

Catch the 15 minute boat ride to Mamutik Island from Kota Kinabalu and find that island paradise you wont find anywhere else. The island never gets too busy, certainly it is not comparable to other islands like Sepilok, Mainly it is Malaysians who visit the island, with very few westerners. The main highlight of the island is the diving. You can walk out to the reefs from the beach and snorkel when you cant dive. Borneo Divers operate on this island, and if you visit their office in KK they can sort you out with gear hire and a PADI course, they also throw in a basic lunch too, the staff are fantastic! Mamutik island is also pretty close to a number of other dive sites, so you can arrange boat dives too. Apart from the diving and the empty beaches what is really great about this

Why Not A South Pacific Resort Called Paradis D’ Ouvea
Looking for a South Pacific Island Beach Resort that is situated in an impossibly beautiful place, then look no further than the Hotel Paradis D’Ouvea which is situated on the island of Ouvea in the Loyalty Islands Group in New Caledonia.   To get a picture of what a Pacific Ocean paradise is like, just imagine a 30 mile long blue lagoon with only one hotel sitting on a white sand beach, and you have the beach virtually all to yourself. The four star Paradis D’Ouvre is the only quality hotel in the Loyalty Islands, which are a group of four islands a short flight away from the Capital of New Caledonia to the north. It has 15 cottages type villas, and ten of them are on the beach, whilst four of the others which have two bedrooms are further back, with only one

Looking for an exclusive Caribbean Resort, and you want as short a flight as possible, and a quick transfer, then look no farther than the All Inclusive, and very exclusive Hermitage Bay which may well be considered a top Antigua Luxury Resort, and is situated on the west coast.   Hermitage Bay is unquestionably a resort with a difference, with a rare combination of English style and tropical beauty. It consists of only 25 very secluded colonial cottage suites divided between Hillside where they have private plunge pools, and eight Beach Cottages in two rows with the front row having panoramic views of the beach. If this is important, you need to specify when booking your Hermitage Bay vacation. The whole place is set in over 10 acres of tropical gardens above an exquisite white sand

Antigua Pineapple Beach Resort Review

I have read a number of Grand Pineapple Antigua Guest Reviews, and was a little nervous before taking my young family there on vacation, but I needn’t have been. Although like anyone writing a review I have my own opinions, and the first thing that I must say is by Far East standards this is not a 5 star.
Caribbean 5 star beach resorts are different altogether.
  The
Pineapple

Beach
is situated on probably the best beach in Antigua, in a lovely cove, and it is quite small compared to other all inclusive resorts I have experienced   We arrived hot and tired, to be given a welcoming rum punch drink. Our room wasn’t fantastic, it had great views of the beach and the resort. It is fair to say that the furniture in the room looked worn out, so it is no great surprise

We managed a discount last minute
Puerto Vallarta package to the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. In truth the discount was the bonus, because we fully intended to go there anyway, and pay the full price, but thanks to some work online, we got a huge discount. A quick thank you to The Vacation Bargain Finder, details of which can be found at
We stayed for five nights in a casita, which although it wasn’t an ocean view, it was still lovely, with a king-sized bed, fantastic marble bathroom, big outside terrace, and great extras, in fact everything you would expect from a Four Seasons Resort, and yet something indefinably more, possibly the big plasma screen television!!   The service in the resort was first class, always there when you wanted something, very willing to
